Smoke DZA is known for his cloudy aesthetic, but there’s a lot more to the man than just cannabis. We got the chance to sit down with DZA to discuss a variety of topics, ranging from politics to professional wrestling to his home life growing up, touching on some important aspects of his life and who he is. In depth, detailed conversations will be a hallmark of the Politickin’ With Eddie podcast and this discussion with DZA is a good introduction to the content that will be provided. Getting past surface level questions will be a big theme here and we got to dive into DZA’s life in order to get some interesting info out of the conversation.

Aside from the Smoke DZA interview, I (Eddie) introduce myself and my background to our audience, why I’m hosting this podcast, and what to expect from it in the future. I then sit down with Harlem’s finest, Smoke DZA, who also happens to be the creator of two excellent politically themed projects, 2010’s George Kush Da Button and 2016’s Don’t Pass Trump The Blunt. This intersection of politics and hip hop made DZA a perfect candidate for the first interview of Politickin’ With Eddie, and the discussion about political life may surprise listeners. DZA (who actually provided the name for this podcast) talks about upcoming musical projects, battling Immortal Technique back in the day, his political views, weed, his passion for wrestling and so much more. Check out the entire podcast below and be sure to tune in on a regular basis!
